Luwanda Jenkins | Vice President
Luwanda Jenkins, who formerly served as a consultant to the Foundation, has been named Vice President. In this new role, Ms. Jenkins will continue to work to advance the Foundations external relations activities with our partners and stakeholders, communications while also assisting with various programs in support of the Foundation’s coordinating role with our (19) member universities and our program funders. Ms. Jenkins has an extensive background in program management, minority business inclusion and government affairs having served in several governor’s administrations in the State of Maryland and Chief of Staff at Coppin State University during my tenure as President.
DelRica Jackson | Administrative Assistant
DelRica Jackson, recently joined the 1890 Foundation staff as an Administrative Assistant and will be responsible for supporting the organizational and logistical activities to ensure the efficient operations for the Foundation. Ms. Jackson’s background includes having served as an office manager for several Maryland and DC based organizations. She is also a registered paralegal and notary.
I am delighted to have both Luwanda and DelRica as part-time staff members working with me as we seek to expand and generate successful outcomes to support the important work of the Foundation.
